Fundraise for NZAVS

There are many things you can do to help raise money to help fuel our work and campaigns towards a cruelty-free Aotearoa, New Zealand:

Organise a Mufti Day

Organise a mufti day at your school and ask everyone to bring a gold coin donation. You'll need to ask your teacher or principal if this is okay first!

Plan a Social Event

Organise a cruelty-free quiz night, potluck, movie night or another social event where people have to pay to attend.

Take a Physical Challenge

Take part in a physical challenge like a marathon and ask your friends and family to sponsor you. Talk to us as we can create a donate page on our site!

Sell Goods or Services

You could get your old clothes and unwanted furniture items together and organise a garage sale, create a raffle with vegan and cruelty-free products, organise a vegan sausage sizzle or vegan bake sale!

Make it a Gift!

Ask your friends and family to make a donation to NZAVS as your birthday, wedding, Christmas or Valentine's gift!

Get Creative!

You can also come up with a different way of raising money for NZAVS —  there are easy platforms to use for projects this including Givealittle or we can create a special fundraising page for you on the NZAVS website. Check out the fundraising run two of our supporters are taking part in to raise funds for NZAVS as an example.

Our important request

Please make sure that any fundraiser you organise for NZAVS is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. We love and respect all animals and don't want to encourage or contribute to their ongoing exploitation.

As a non-profit, we rely solely on the generosity of our supporters so no donation is ever too small! If you're organising a fundraiser for NZAVS, we'd love to hear about it so please contact us and let us know. We'd also love to share photos of your fundraiser so please email those through, too!

Thank you for helping defend animals used in science!
