We officially launched our children's book, The Six-Foot Rats on the 18th of November 2017 and the launch event was hugely successful! It was a fun afternoon for children to read the book for the first time, get their face painted (with cruelty-free face-paint of course), meet rescue animals, do arts and crafts, and be introduced to the concept that animals don’t need to be hurt for humans to thrive.
Green MP's Chlöe Swarbrick and Gareth Hughes attended the book launch as special guests. They did the honour of giving the first ever live reading of the book at our event. Labour MP's Ruth Dyson and Poto Williams also attended as special guests.
We were lucky to also have singer and children's entertainer, Ruth Flynn attend our event to sing educational songs to the many children who attended.
