Marielle is an interim member of the NZAVS Board - NZAVS Members will be able to vote for her to be appointed as an official Board Member at the 2024 AGM. 

Marielle holds a Master of Social Science and a Master of Business Administration. She also brings many years of management and marketing experience across various sectors where she held senior and international positions with both public and private companies. In recent years, she managed and consulted with many not for profit organisations. 

The key strengths she brings to the Board are strategic and innovative thinking, she looks at the path to success and sees the big picture. 

Marielle is passionate about animal welfare and environmental sustainability, loves walking, goes to the gym and enjoys travel and plant-based foods. She lives in Tauranga with her partner and 15 year old schnauzer.
