Marlene is passionate about the mahi the New Zealand Anti-Vivisection Society does, sharing our vision of defending Aotearoa’s innocent animals. She has attended numerous protests, signed her name to many petitions and regularly kept up to date with the Charity’s activities through social media. She’s enthusiastic to increase her involvement in this activism as a productive board member for NZAVS.

As an experienced Kaitātati Matua within the Community Investments Team for Manatū mō te Taiao (Ministry for the Environment), her mission is to provide sustainable funding aimed at enhancing our communities capability and capacity to undertake conservation activities. She definitely has the relevant skills and experience!
