Sam is our longest standing Board member and brings a wealth of experience to the role in her second year as chair. She’s also our Māori Cultural Advisor. Mother to Te Ao Kohu (who also attends many board meetings in an advisory role), she represents the heart, soul and institutional memory of the Charity. Sam is an experienced teacher presently doing contract work. Her communication skills are awesome and she takes on multiple tasks, including being being our resident IT problem solver. She’s the most level headed person you’ll ever meet and we are so lucky to have her!
